As Winter approaches, many of us will fall foul of colds and flu. This is a Winter drink I developed over many years. The health benefits are quite superb and it is remarkably tasty and very refreshing. The relief felt from winter ailments is almost instant. I call it # 12 Tea.

The correct method to make # 12 Tea.
In a glass or cup place two coins of freshly sliced ginger. Squish them gently with a cinnamon stick .
Add hot water and steep for two minutes stirring gently with the cinnamon stick. Add two fine slices of fresh lime(or lemon) and squeeze in the juice of half a lime. Now stir gently with the cinnamon stick while drizzling in a teaspoon of raw honey. Add a sprinkle of Himalayan Salt if you would like.
Stir randomly with the cinnamon stick as you enjoy this fabulous and healthy tea! If you are using this tea for relief from Cystitis, add a few Thyme leaves.
